I told you it would be hard for me to stick to a schedule. This is the second episode of my Friday Favorite posts. I am seating in a meeting (about social media) and writing this post. I had planned to write this yesterday, but I am not sure where my Friday went. I bet most of you have those days as well.
I must be in a dresser mode, because looking back at what I added to my Pinterest Friday Favorites board, it was primarily dressers. Maybe it is because I have several dressers and chests waiting to be painted.
This Alaskan Tundra Green dresser is so fresh looking. I love that they gave us a before and after picture. The transformation is unbelievable. What I think is great about this dresser is it looks so fresh but at the same time appears like it could have been loved for many years. That is the hallmark of a great paint job of a piece that is meant to invoke vintage appeal.
This dresser was painted by Picklee on Spring and can be found HERE.
Dresser number two makes me smile. Like many do, I sang (poorly) the song to my girls when they were young. Now days, my grandson sings it to me and that makes me smile like a circus clown. 🙂
This happy dresser was painted by Desert Serendipity in Carolina Sun Yellow. I found it on this Pinterest board.
Straying from the dresser theme but keeping with the sunshine theme is my next Friday is an art piece. Some days you want to get away from furniture and do something else. CeCe Caldwell’s Paints is not just for furniture. Sitting here in beautiful British Columbia, Canada with the soft rain dropping and autumn sneaking in, I am reminded of the wonderful summer days that have just left us when looking at this.
Taylor at Dear Olympia used our new, awesome, Stain + Finish, our Metallic Wax and our paint to make this great piece of art.
To see all of my picks for this Friday Favorites, THIS link will take you to them. Let me know which one was your favorite.
Peace,
CeCe
